Hi ya!
I’m an avid lover of fantasy, sci-fi and Dungeons & Dragons. Each month I improvise characters ranging from sassy do-gooders with a penchant for mischief, to tortured villains seeking vengeance. I love the spectrum between confident characters unabashedly owning their (queer) identity, and awkward introverts finding love for the first time. A friend once described me as “the type of person who, if they had to, could confidently hunt an animal and respectfully utilize all of their parts whilst honoring their spirit.”
I have always loved to move – through a decade of soccer, gymnastics, and dance, and later as a certified yoga teacher, movement and mindfulness sit at the core of my being. As my love for storytelling deepened into college, I sought out characters who were movers & shakers. Some of my favorites have included Beatrice in Much Ado, Rosalind in As You Like It, Juliet in Romeo & Juliet, Salome in Luna Noctiluca, Josie in The Skriker, and Celimene in Le Misanthrope.
My MFA in Actor Training & Coaching magnified my dexterity as an actor; I draw on an extensive range of acting approaches to meet the needs of any given character. I gravitate particularly toward collaborative methodologies, such as devising. I’m a passionate believer that whatever project we’re working on, be it in theatre, film, or at the role-playing table, the story reaches new clarity and extraordinary heights when everyone’s creativity is turned on and at play.
I am currently represented by Harris Talent Agency.

“Lushington’s performance is wide-eyed and emphatic; she makes all kinds of strange, expressive noises, and at one point literally cartwheels out of Orlando’s arms. The goofiness might seem over the top if she didn’t have such a charismatic character to play. The unabashed, giddily feminine orchestrator of much of the plot, Rosalind is one of Shakespeare’s most enthralling characters, and Lushington does her justice.” – Willamette Weekly
